When is the election? The General Election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
What is the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County? The Court of Common Pleas is the trial-level court for Allegheny County. There are four divisions in the Court of Common Pleas: Family, Civil, Criminal and Orphans Court. Each judge is assigned to a specific division.
Isn't Hugh already a judge? Yes, he is a Pittsburgh Magisterial District Judge, a position he has held since 2012. His experience on the bench will serve him well on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. He is currently the only candidate with first-hand experience like this.
Is Hugh running as Democrat or a Republican? Hugh will be on the ballot as one of three Democratic nominees for the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County.
Where can I get a yard sign? If you have one that you saved from the Primary, please take it out and put it in your yard. If you need a yard sign, you can pick one up at one of the following locations:
Squirrel Hill: 1402 Murray Ave., Front Porch 15217
Shadyside: 236 Spahr St. (which is the back porch of Headquarters, behind Café Zinho) 15232

Where can I get printed literature to distribute? Use the contact us to arrange to pick up printed literature to distribute. If you have hand cards and poll cards that are in good condition for re-use and do not have anywhere convenient to store them until the General Election in the fall, please return them to Headquarters, 5890 ½ Ellsworth Ave, through the mail slot or onto our back porch behind Café Zinho, 238 Spahr Street.
Can I volunteer to help with the campaign? Yes! Working a poll is a VERY effective way to help get votes. Plus, you get a free t-shirt! If you have a few hours to spare on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3), please let us know by using our Contact page. No experience is necessary; we will provide training.
